up down under

i stand in the rain
cold air on my face
i look at blue upon blue
of ocean
and wonder
if i stand long enough
if i listen hard enough
maybe the waves will
answer me

i think the word's beauty is proportionately related to how much we can appreciate the beauty of God's creation around us.
